I am connected to a separate sound system and am experiencing sound problems. How can I fix this?

Here’s what you should check:

1.  Confirm that the sound system is turned on and that the cable between the Melita HD Box and the surround system is connected properly.

2.  You may need to change from Digital Stereo to Home Cinema mode. Here’s how:

  • Press the Menu button from the Melita HD remote control.

  • Press OK on Setup and diagnostics.

  • Stay on Programme Setup and press OK on Preferred audio mode.

  • Select Home Cinema.

3.  Since the audio output will go through your sound system, kindly follow the procedure below:

  • Press the Menu button from the Melita HD remote control.

  • Press OK on Setup and diagnostics.

  • Go to Audio and Video Setup and press OK on HDMI Audio Output.

  • Press OK on Disabled HDMI audio.
