Q: Why am I being asked to enter a new passcode?
A: Most online transactions need a 2 step authentication making online transactions safer for card holders.
Q: Do I need to input the code each time I pay my bill?
A: Yes unless you set up a recurring payment. If you decide to pay through PACC it authenticates your 1st payment as recurring so that you do not need to input your details & passcode each time you need to pay your bill. It also saves you 50c Non-Dm charge.
Q: Do I need to input the code each time I make an online top-up?
A: Yes the bank may ask for this authentication each time you top-up.
Q: My card is not yet 3D secure enabled. Can I still pay my bill using my card?
A: Yes there will be no request to enter this passcode for these types of cards.
Q: I don’t know my passcode. How do I obtain this?
A: It is not possible for Melita to obtain this code. Please contact your bank for help with restoring your passcode.
Q: I haven’t received by code by SMS. Can you send it to me?
A: It is not possible for Melita to obtain this code. Please contact your bank to help you with this.
Q: Can I give you my passcode online and you input for me?
A: No, this is not possible for your own security. You may input this online on our secure environment.
